Blue LED Light Treatment

Blue LED light treatments are becoming the go to teeth whitening method because they are safer than the UV light procedures. Your teeth whitening tech will apply a whitening gel to your teeth and use a blue LED light, which activates the hydrogen peroxide whitening gel. The chemical reaction removes stains off your teeth.

A Cheek retractor is used to hold your lips away from your teeth for best results. A special gel is applied over you gums to protect them from any irritation. Teeth whitening gel is applied to your teeth. The Blue LED light is aimed at your teeth for around one hour. Your mouth is then rinsed completely and the shade of your teeth is measured for comparison.

Side Effects

Blue light whitening methods are known to be safe according to many studies. However, this treatment might have some minor side-effects such as tooth sensitivity and irritation in the areas of treatment.
